ABOUT THE ART

When I was walking home from school with my mother one day, she saw these elephant ears in someone’s front yard. She rang the door bell to ask information about the plant only to discover that the owner was an Italian immigrant just like herself. Their friendship started on that day and my parents have had these plants in their summer garden ever since.
