ABOUT THE ART

The foxtail agave reminds me of our ability to make it through. I created this painting when grieving a tragic and traumatic loss. Accompanied with that grief was the need to remember who I was while learning to create my new life in the aftermath. This plant is a reminder of Resilience - our ability to adjust to whatever comes our way.
