ABOUT THE ART

After a loss that pushed me into healing from grief and trauma, I found it difficult to paint the bright and vibrant colors which had once defined my art practice. Painting Birds of Paradise Flowers always brings me back into my happy place. This painting gave me hope because it showed me that even though things had forever changed, I could create with joy again.
